Bickal Koi Farm: Koi House Blog
Frame it up!
Since my child labor is at school these days, I have brought in "Retired Father" labor to lend a hand. Dad got all the siding removed from the old building and some piles of dirt out of the tanks and the floors smoothed out.

I've made some more progress. Saturday I got the knee walls and the door way framed up. Sunday I set the main beam, and got the rafters in. It was a long weekend. Luckily I got to work in the daylight. Its back to working in the dark by spotlight for the rest of the week :( I'll be going up to FarmTek this Saturday to get the 8mm twinwall polycarbonate greenhouse panels.

keeping ahead of the weather is a daily battle. If its not darkness im dealing with, its rain. We got almost an inch of rain last night which put quite a bit of water in the new addition. I have the polycarbonate panels on the front of the building and all the blocking on the rafters. Friday and Saturday are suppose to be dry so hopefully I can get the roof finished by then.

Made some progress this 4 day Thanksgiving weekend!! All polycarbonate is up and roof is ready to shingle!

Roof is Done!

The windows and door are in, and just in time as we got an inch of snow last night and forecast says another 8" this week.
