Bickal Koi Farm: Koi House Blog Hatching Pond

Apr 30, 2007 All of the koi and plants are outside for the summer, so the greenhouse looks really empty. I need to finish mudding the drywall this summer, now that I can leave it open and it doesnt get so humid. That way I can paint, and decorate the wall with my koi posters. Ive got an oxygen tank now, so I can bag koi. Next step is to get shipping boxes so I can start shipping koi. Ive got my brine shrimp hatching table set up in the koihouse now. The wife didn't want it in the garage anymore. Im already thinking about expanding the size of the koihouse. Remember that big pile of dirt that I threw out the window when I dug the second pond in the koihouse , well I had to move all that dirt a second time!! Someone gave me a large swimming pool liner so Shane and I dug a new pond on the outside which is like 12x18. Im thinking that I could continue to dig that out, pour more cement walls, and that would become my new big tank. Here's the new "quick and dirty" pond that we dug outside the koihouse.

Jun 18, 2007 Ive been doing some work to the outside of the koihouse, landscaping, etc. I poured a new sidewalk and put some cool inlays in it
