David Meyer's Pond - Toddville Iowa

Note: this is a decorative water feature/garden, it is not meant to have fish, thus is has no filter or bottom drains.

The pond started out with this 12' waterwheel and small shallow cement pool. The pool leaked pretty bad and the homeowner was tired of trying to patch it.

The homeowner tore out the old railroad tie wall and replaced it with diamond block. several steps to make an interesting waterfall

I started shaping the dirt to form pools and re-arrange the diamond block to make my waterfalls.

Lower pool.

Lower pool from a different angle.

Pools are lined with old used carpet.

Pretty carpet.

We ran out of carpet, so we had to finish up with used carpet padding.

Pond is lined with rubber, full of water, and we are doing the rock work.
