Bickal Koi Farm - Koi Pond Consultation Ely Iowa

This pond is about 5000 gallons, with and a large waterfall and several connecting pools. On this pond, I helped the homeowner design and conceptualize the pond. The homeowner dug the pond himself. I installed most of the piping, including 2 bottom drains, and the drain for the settling chamber. I also assisted with the installation of the pond rubber, and made the boot connections through the liner to all of the plumbing. A 16ton crane was brought in for the placement of the rocks. I was able to direct the crane to place all of the bigger rocks. I supplied this pond with plants and koi. The water flowing over this waterfall is about 11,000gallons per hour. Pictured in the far right is a settling chamber and the pumphouse.
